MAUI RELIEF EFFORTS

How to help victims of the Maui wildfires

‘Āina Momona is one of many organizations mobilizing to provide support the families impacted by the devastating wildfires that occurred on August 8, 2023. 'Āina Momona created three primary fundraisers, they are described below.

We will begin phasing out our fundraising efforts at the end of August 2023 and intend to spend down all our raised funds in September 2023. Some individual campaigns may remain active and their distribution may occur later. A full accounting of all donations and their distribution will be posted to this website. This website will remain up with direct links to organizations continuing to work in response to the fires, as will all the verified family fundraiser pages.

Maui County Firefighter Relief

This fund, and all monies raised, will be disbursed to the firefighters, lifeguards, and EMTs who have been directly impacted by the Maui wildfires. These selfless heroes are still standing on the frontlines every day for the safety of our communities, despite being affected themselves.

The end date of this campaign is TBD.

Donate Directly to Families in Need

The below personal fundraisers have been verified by our team to be families who lost their homes in the Lahaina wildfires. We will continue to add to this page as we verify more personal fundraisers. There are hundreds of affected families; please be patient with us as we update this list. We encourage people to give directly to these families who have lost everything.
