E kanu i ka huli ʻoi hāʻule ka ua - Plant the taro stalks while there is rain.
Do your work when the opportunity affords.
After the much-needed ua this weekend, our crew has been busy planting huli, lolu and fruit trees. We gathered the topsoil that was washed onto our site and are utilizing it to nourish our nursery and identify the areas where erosion mitigation efforts are most needed. Our punawai and loko iʻa have begun to clear up and recover from the runoff brought on by this weekend.
